Outer Banks Catering and Events is proudly rooted in the heart of the OBX. Our owner, Beaman Hines, a sixth-generation local, has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a family legacy in seafood. By following his lead, we are dedicated to providing fresh, local food and an authentic Outer Banks experience.

You may recognize our family of restaurants across the OBX, including Shipwrecks Taphouse and Grill, Sandtrap Tavern, Simply Southern Kitchen, and Sooey’s BBQ and Rib Shack—all winners of multiple “Best of the Beach” awards, reflected in our catering menu.

We specialize in customizing events, from weddings to backyard BBQs. Whether at one of our locations or with our food trucks, we offer delicious, locally-inspired menus that will leave your guests craving more.
